ElectroCraze 100S-BD v2 – Single Channel 100A Bidirectional Brushed Motor Controller
Ultra-high-current single-channel bidirectional brushed motor controller with 100A continuous (115A peak), 12–40V (3S–10S LiPo) input, integrated BEC, overcurrent and signal loss protection. Built for heavy combat robots, large RC vehicles and industrial platforms.
- 100A continuous / 115A peak output for the most demanding motors
- Wide 12V–40V (3S–10S LiPo) input range
- Bidirectional control with Forward / Reverse LED indication
- Overcurrent protection with built-in current limiting
- Signal loss protection cuts motor output if the RC signal drops
- Integrated BEC powers your receiver, no separate BEC needed
The ElectroCraze 100S-BD v2 is a single-channel, ultra-high-current bidirectional brushed motor controller designed for the most power-intensive RC and robotics applications. It delivers 100A continuous and 115A peak output across a 12–40V (3S–10S LiPo) supply and takes a standard servo (PWM) signal from any RC receiver.
Overcurrent protection and signal loss protection keep your motor and controller safe, and the integrated BEC powers your receiver without a separate BEC. The robust heat-shrink protected PCB makes it a strong choice for heavy combat robots, large industrial RC systems and high-performance ground vehicles.
Key Features:-
- 100A continuous output: extreme sustained power for the most demanding motors
- 115A peak current: handles massive burst loads
- Overcurrent protection: built-in current limiting protects motor and controller
- Signal loss protection: safely cuts motor output on RC signal interruption
- Integrated BEC: powers the receiver directly, no separate BEC required
- Forward / Reverse LED indication: white LED for forward, red LED for reverse
Applications:-
Heavy combat robots • High-power RC vehicles • Industrial RC systems • Heavy robotic platforms • RC boats & submarines • Large-scale RC crawlers
LED Indicator Guide:-
| LEDs | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Green solid | Valid power, controller on |
| Blue solid | Valid RC signal received and active |
| Green solid + Blue blinking | Power OK, no RC signal received |
| White solid | Forward |
| Red solid | Reverse |
Wiring:-
- Power input: Red → Battery (+), Black → Battery (−)
- Motor output: Yellow (M1A) → Motor (+), Blue (M1B) → Motor (−)
- Signal: connect the servo cable to RC channel 1 on your receiver. Check ground, power and signal pin alignment. Re-bind the transmitter/receiver if no signal is detected on power-on.
The full wiring diagram is in the datasheet PDF available in the Downloads tab on this page.
Important Usage Notes:-
- Check battery polarity before connecting power. Reversed polarity causes irreversible and permanent damage.
- Designed for 12V–40V only. Voltages above 40V cause permanent damage, so confirm battery cell count before connecting.
- The board becomes very hot at high currents. Do not touch it right after use or place it near low-melting-point materials.
- Do not wrap it in insulating material; free airflow is essential to sustain the 100A continuous rating without thermal shutdown.
- Keep conductive materials away from the PCB. At 100A, instantaneous shorts can cause severe damage before any protection can respond.
- In combat robot or high-vibration builds, secure the heavy components (power capacitors) with silicone or epoxy.
