Important Note:
When using two Electrocraze 65A Bidirectional Brushless Motor Controllers (SimonK) with inbuilt BEC functions in the same receiver, it’s important to prevent both BECs from powering the receiver simultaneously. Multiple BECs supplying power to the same circuit can create voltage regulation issues and may potentially damage the receiver or the motor controllers.
To handle this:
- Disable one BEC:
Disconnect the red wire (positive wire) from the receiver connector of one of the Electrocraze 65A motor controllers. This disables the BEC function for that specific controller, ensuring that it does not supply power to the receiver. The other Electrocraze 65A controller will continue powering the receiver via its BEC. - Keep ground and signal wires connected:
Make sure both Electrocraze 65A controllers’ ground (black wire) and signal (white or yellow wire) wires remain connected to the receiver. This will allow both controllers to receive control signals from the receiver without power conflicts.
This way, you ensure that only one BEC is supplying power to the receiver, preventing interference or potential damage to your components.
